I loved being back in this small-town world. Lara Bruni always makes me feel like I’m part of the story and I absolutely love it. This book gave me exactly what I wanted: tension, banter, emotional growth, and a hero who is perfectly imperfect, falls first and falls hard.
I loved the banter, the heat, and especially the “I will wait, and I’m not going anywhere” energy” vibe. The friends-with-benefits dynamic adds just enough tension, and the small-town setting makes everything feel close and personal in the best way.
Lara has a way of blending heart, humor, and chemistry to make you keep tuning the pages because you want more. I truly enjoyed following their journey. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series!
